Beijing Fashion Week | KEENON's Kido Steals the Spotlight in Intangible Cultural Heritage Haute Couture

  • Published: 2026-10-23

On September 16, Kido—the trendsetting star under KEENON Robotics—made its appearance at Beijing Fashion Week as a fashion blogger. As a special guest, it was invited to the annual runway show of haute couture brand LACAVA, where it sat front row in a brand-exclusive custom haute couture outfit, witnessing a collision of Eastern aesthetics and avant-garde design.

Kido's exclusive haute couture was tailor-made by designer Zou Yu (YOYO), who has created looks for celebrities including Tang Yan and Zhao Liying. The outfit features traditional Chinese Xiangyunsha (gambiered Canton gauze) as its core fabric. As cyber textures blend with the charm of intangible cultural heritage, a uniquely distinctive aura emerges.

As a member of the KEENON XMAN family, Kido stands 136cm tall and boasts 42 biomimetic degrees of freedom. Powered by KEENON's reinforcement learning and imitation learning motion control technology, Kido can smoothly perform interactive and runway-walking movements. Previously active in brand pop-ups, supermarkets, and restaurant scenarios, it has already become a popular cyber KOL in fashion circles thanks to its lively dance and interactive performances.

With intangible cultural heritage craftsmanship, haute couture, and embodied intelligence sharing the same stage, the boundary between tradition and technology is being redrawn. Robots are no longer merely tools in service scenarios—they can also be participants in the aesthetic scene, carrying a new expression of Eastern aesthetics.

From service scenarios to fashion runways, KEENON's exploration of "job-based" deployment is enabling robots to step into more real-world scenarios in diverse roles.
